Responsible for coordinating event which includes the selection of films, training and scheduling of 50 volunteers and securing corporate and grant funding for the event. For the past nine years, the MLFF has provided the Miami audience of 70,000 an opportunity to view 50 or more foreign language independent films. Film directors, producers, and actors are invited to Miami so that they can present their films to U.S. distributors. Some 75 films have been sold as a direct result of participating in the Miami Latin Film Festival.
